I've known Sara since she was 14 years old! She is a close friend of my daughter Sarah. I was beyond thrilled when she asked me to capture her wedding day. The venue they had chosen was beautiful, located on a lake nestled in a valley in Monroe, CT. There were many touching moments throughout the day, but two stand out. The first one was when Sara's father came into the bridal suite and saw his daughter in her wedding gown for the first time. The look on his face said it all. The second moment was when Danny was waiting at the alter and Sara had just turned the corner of the aisle. He tried to control himself but was overcome and just started tearing up, moved by the site of his bride. I captured both these moments and that is why I love photographing weddings.
